The current HAEC Five Year Strategic Plan ends July 2024, so the Board of Directors and staff have been meeting over the past few months to work on our next Strategic Plan. To build on what has been discussed during these meetings, three members of the Board (Michelle Cooper, Kim Speiss and Kerstyn Lane) and staff (Daphne Dumbrille and Heather Dow) met in person in Ottawa, and virtually from Quebec (Martine Paquette), on May 5th and 6th. We had a very successful and productive weekend developing our next Strategic Plan. We are pleased that we are in the final stretch of completing this important task and excited for what the next five years will bring.
We took advantage of being together and organized a walk with some Ottawa members in beautiful downtown Ottawa to add steps to the HAE Global Activity Challenge in honour of hae day 🙂 2024. It was wonderful to get out and walk together on a beautiful spring day!
